Adele von Bibra was born in 1924 in Los Angeles, California. She attended the University of Chicago from 1942 to 1943 and the University of California Los Angeles from 1943 to 1944. She also attended the University of California, Berkeley and in 1946 married Hendrick Zwart. She lived in Las Vegas, Nevada at the end of her life.
