Materials were given to the Arnold Shaw Popular Music Research Center in 2019 and subsequently transferred to Special Collections; accession number 2019-108. In 2022, Paul Hannah signed an additional deed of gift. In 2024, Jonathan Rhodes Lee transferred an additional box of manuscripts via the Arnold Shaw Popular Music Research Center; accession number 2024-032.
In 2023, Celene Chavez rehoused the material and created the inventory using information provided by the donor. Sarah Jones created the finding aid in ArchivesSpace. In 2024, Libna Garcia created the inventory for the 2024 accession.
