we the undersigned do claim (1500) fifteen hundred feet on this Ledge Lode as Vein of mineral bearing Rock with all dips spurs and angles also 300 feet three hundred feet on each side of said vein for working purposes with all the privileges granted by acts of Congress commencing at this monument and running westerly 500 feet five hundred feet and easterly 1000 feet one thousand feet to be known as the Black Jack situate mile Easterly of the [not legible] on [not legible] near the [not legible] wash
