Garfield No.2 Mine
Notice we the undersigned do hereby Locate and claim fifteen hundred feet for Mining Purposes on this Lead Lode as Ledge as Deposit of Silver Bearing Rock and ore to be known and described as the Garfield No.2 Mine commencing at the Monument upon which this notice is placed and running in a Easterly Direction five hundred feet also in a westerly direction, one thousand feet from said location monument on and along said Lead Lode as Ledge as Deposit of Silver Bearing, Rock and ore and in [not legible] three hundred feet on each side there of for mining and working purposes we claim and intend to hold and work said claim and mining, ground in accordance with the mining, Laws of the United States approved May 10th 1872 and in accordance with the mining, Laws of El Dorado Mining District Lincoln County State of Nevada said mine is Situated in the El Dorado Wash on the north side of the [not legible] Road at the old well and joining the Lucky [not legible] mine on the west end and at the junction of the El Dorado & the [not legible] [not legible]
