Notice is hereby given that we the undersigned has this Day taken up and claim for a Town Site the following described ground to [not legible]
Beginning at corner monument, a [not legible] with a few Rocks piled there on the property of [not legible] [not legible] Lewis Running (500) five hundred feet South By East to a corner monument on the Colorado River Bank thence west By South (300) three hundred feet to a stone monument thence north By west half west (500) five hundred feet to a Stone monument thence East By South (300) three hundred feet to Place of Beginning
