Connolly Mine
Notice I the undersigned do hereby locate and claim fifteen hundred feet for mining purposes on this lead lode or ledge or deposit of silver & gold bearing rock and ore to be known as the Connolly Mine. Commencing  at this monument upon which this notice is placed and running northerly one thousand feet and southerly five hundred feet on and along said lead lode or ledge or deposit of silver and gold bearing rock and ore. And including three hundred feet on each side thereof for mining and working purposes. I claim and intend to hold and work said claim and mining ground in accordance with the mining laws of the United States approved May 10th 1881 and in accordance with the mining laws of El Dorado mining District, Lincoln Co., Nevada. Said mine is situated about seven hundred yards north westerly from the [not legible] Boarding House in a small hill location [not legible] on said hill.
