The concert, entitled f,The Wide Wild World of Jazz,11 will include new selections and arrangements as well as some of the famous standards of Stan Kenton and Henry Mancini. The benefit is being held for the Clark County Association for Retarded Children with proceeds being used for development of the Retarded Childrens Opportunity Center in Las Vegas. A top entertainer is-expected to appear. In past years Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra Jr. have made appearances.
