SKELTON CONCERT Associated Press ron erickson 7/24 More than 2,000 persons of all ages crowded the Sands Hotel Grand Ballroom Sunday afternoon as the Second Annual Concert of music composed by Red Skelton was played by the Las Vegas "Pops" Orchestra. The program, presented by Jack Entratter, Sands president and show producer, included a wide array of music from soft waltzes to spirited marches played by the fifty-eight piece ensemble. Much of yesterday?╟╓s music Was based on'Skelton?╟╓s world-wide travels during which he received inspiration for many of his songs. Included in this catagory were "Russian Sleigh-ride," "Women of Athens," "Moonlight oh Fuji," "Istanbul Express," "London Tower," and "Nikko Gardens."
