Description
Governor Charles Russell Making first dial call. Behind him is Colvin Smith, Manager of Bank of Nevada in Henderson; Kirby Trumbo and Mrs. Herschel Trumbo; W. J. Urga, telephone company executive; and Robert Allen, chairman of Nevada Public Services Commission. The occasion was the changing of telephones in the area to the dial system. (April 1, 1954)
