156 Las Vegas, Nevada October 29, 1947 The Board of City Commissioners of Las Vegas, Nevada, met in a recessed regular session, pursuant to due legal notice and call, at the regular meeting place of said Board in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 29th day of October, 1947 at the hour of 3:30 o'clock, P.M. The following members of the Board of city Commissioners were present: Mayor E. W. Cragin Commissioner R. T. Baskin Commissioner Robert T. Moore Commissioner C. R. Clark Commissioner Reed Whipple Also Present: City Clerk Helen Scott Reed His Honor, E. W. Cragin, called the meeting to order and stated that in accordance with the provisions of a resolution passed by the Board of city Commissioners of the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 15 , 1947, that there had been published in full compliance with law, a notice advertising for sale $125,000.00 general obligation bonds, such notice of sale being as follows: Legal Notices AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION STATE OF NEVADA, ) COUNTY OF CLARK ..........., being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is....of the LAS VEGAS EVENING REVIEW/JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, of gen­eral circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period from to inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named Subscribed and sworn to before me this day of October 1947 .........
