436 Las Vegas, Nevada July 7, 1953 CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING TO: SHIRLEY BALLINGER City Clerk A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas is hereby called to be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, on the 7th day of July, 1953, at the hour of 4:00 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1. Proposed agreement with Clark County on use of sewer plant. 2. Sale of City "Strip" Property. 3. Recommendations on following bids: a. Bid No. 53.23 - Rodding Machine for Sewer Plant b. Golf Course Extension 4 . Set date for opening of construction bids for first portion of sewer improvement district. 5. Ordinance recommended by the Grand Jury. 6. Right-of-way on North 5th Street - Mr. L. Chambers of the State Highway Department will be present. 7. Report on proposed motel and hotel rental ordinance from City Attorney. 8. Bids on Bonds for Assessment Dist. 100-11, & 100-18 9. Property for State Building, deed. s/ C.D. BAKER Mayor NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TO: C.D. BAKER, Mayor and to WENDELL BUNKER, REX A. JARRETT, HARRIS P. SHARP, REED WHIPPLE, Commissioners, and A.H. KENNEDY, Acting City Manager, HOWARD W. CANNON, City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Baker, a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 5th & Stewart, on the 7th day of July, 1953, at the hour of 4:00 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1.
