McNamee 310 Fremont Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Leo; I apologize for not being able to return to you the redrafted Proposal and the so-called Exhibit "Bw, the latter being the easements for pipe lines, etc. However, when the drafts heretofore sent you were sent on to Omaha, they requested someone to go back and discuss them, and Mr. Renwick went back and spent two days going over the Proposal and the Exhibit MB", and numerous modifications, primarily in form rather than in substance, were suggested. These are being made and will be sent to Omaha for final clearance, after which they will be sent to you for review by you arid Mr. Campbell. I am sorry about this delay, but I am sure, since you know the workings of the Law Department of the railroad, and that we have to clear these matters with our executives in Omaha before making any submission, handling it in this way will in the end expedite the consummation of the transaction. With best wishes to you and Mr. Campbell for a very happy Holiday Season and a prosperous New Year. Yours very truly, EEBtJL E. E. Bennett cci Mr, Thomas A.
