120 3. duty upon herself (that is the duty of [not legible] tending the cooking and dining room), but this, together with her duties as matron and the assistance she is obliged to give the seamstress just at this time (when we have added a member of children, all of whom must be fitted out with new clothes complete- and all of whom are too small to render any assistance themselves) is too much to expect of anyone, besides taking her from the duties for which she is employed. I would like to add 50 more pupils but will not be able to do so until I can get lumber to make needed repairs. Very respectfully S.M.McCowan Supt.
