About them to show that a particular paper by the name of “Daily Press” was meant. In consequence I took it as it reads - that I had full liberty to publish the ad in any paper in Los Angeles except the Herald. I have never heard of any paper called the “Press” published in Los Angeles. In my letter directing insertion I requested that a copy of each paper containing the ad be sent to me but in my final letter to the Times directing them how to secure payment I told them very plainly that they must send to your Office the 21 papers wrapped in one bundle. I forward you by this mail the papers containing the advertisement from Dec. 30 to Jan. 21
