In March last 2 submitted an estimate for such machinery, etc. as would be necessary for the [not legible] irrigation of 1000 acres, two hundred acres of which were to be used by the school and the balance [not legible] be allotted to individual Indians in five or ten acre lots. This place if adopted, would be of inestimable value to the tribe, as well as being a source of revenue to the school. Since then I have learned that my views were heavily approved by the Indian Office. In March of last year the school sat out nearly 1000 trees, vines, roots, etc. of various kinds. This
