Fort Mojave, Ariz. November 17 The Honorable Commissioner of Indian Affairs Washington D.C. Sir: Replying to your letter of the 9th inst. Requesting certain information regarding the present and future of our school with a view to asking an increased appropriation of Congress, I have the honor to state here as explicitly as possible my views for the coming years and my reasons for believing that $80000 could be very wisely expended in enlarging the capacity and increasing the facilities for learning of the Herbert Welsh Institute.
