of Lsis Tdgtis « Los Angeles,Cal., May 3, 1930. Mr^'E. 1. Calvin, y£x. j . Rot Ross Clerk, Special Committee. Dear Sira: It has been suggested several times that we‘drill a well within our shop grounds at L&s Vegas with view of obtaining artesian water. low are familiar with our present water supply at that point. During the summer months we are somewhat short of water there. If anything happened to our pipe line or the springs at Las Vegas, we would be seriously handicapped. Mr. Maguire advisee that all the artesian wells in La@ Vegas Valley are less than three hundred feet in depth, and he estimates a twelve inch well would cost approximately $3,000.00. Do you feel we would be justified in incurring this expense at present time I Respectj FJHC-VAC.
