CCXF^ Dec. 1904. 60—A Dr. J. K. W. Bracken, Las Vegas, Nev. Dear Sir: I have yours of Dec. 12th in the matter of the employment of an 'orchard!st and nursejrfban for the ranch . I do not think we can go to this expense at the present time; nor do I think it advisable to transplant the 15,000 or 20,000 grape vines on hand at the present time The plans as to Vegas Ranch are indefinite, and we do not wish to go to any more expense than absolutely necessary.
