PERSONAL June 1,1905. 60-A Dr.J.K.W.Bracken, Laa Vegas, Nevada. Dear Siri- Referring to the dispute between Walter and Bettis in regard to feed bill of Marsh, the freighter, amounting to $11.80, whioh was collected by either you or your brother, and #3.75 of it paid oyer t0the 3an PeAro Company,- Mr.Bettis |a claiming now that the whole amount should be paid to the company, that you did not nay for the hay until March 19th. X think either you or your brother claimed to me that you were given possession of it on the 7th. There is not a great deal involved and rather than have a scrap about it,as there appears to be a misunderstanding between you, it might be well for you to pay the full amount over to the company,and in doing so yon can,of course, state that while you do not think you owe it you prefer to have it settled in order to save any trouble in the matter. It is a small matter, however seems to have created consid­erable correspondence, and so far as I am concerned, I don't care to be bothered any further with the matter if I can help it.
