Dear Sir: Replying to your letter of March twenty-fourth about the company that Dr. Middleton has organised to purchase 10,000 acres of land near Kewcastle. I had a newspaper clipping about this a few days ago and wrote to Mr* Warner tc investigate the matter and give some additional information. This Mewcastle project is one that I have always con­sidered essentially sound but they have been handicapped a great deal in the past few years on account of lack of funds to rush the thing, and if Dr. Middleton’s new company is strong, financially, I anticipate it will result in pretty rapid settlement and. develop­ment of that tract.
