Construction of houses at has Yegas Los Angeles, Cal,f June 28,^ 1909 Mr,W.H.Comstock, Secretary, Building, Dear Sir: This acknowledges receipt of your favor of June nineteenth, enclosing certified copy of the minutes of meetings of the Board of Directors of the Las Yegas Land & Water Company held on June eighth and June eighteenth. E0 four-room houses and 20 five-room are to he erected, and that all of these are to he huilt on blocks 23 and 26, and that each house is to have a 40-foot (front) lot. If I am wrong in this, please advise. Also please advise if I am correct in understanding that the houses are to he erected at the expense of the Las Yegas Land & Water Company. If so, I presume they will he huilt hy the Rail­road Company and under the direction of the Chief Engineer, and that hills will he made against the Las Yegas Land & Water Company there- I understand from Mr,Clark that it has been settled that Any information you have on the subject I would be very glad to receive so that the records may he correctly kept.
