Los Angeles Times November 12, 1942 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Hard Water Analysis -of the water from a recently armed well showed it is very hard (hard­ness 750 parts per million.) Is such wa­ter harmful to drink? It has a slightly salty taste which we like. N. p. T. Answer—Even the hardest water is per- fectly good drinking water if the iaste is satisfactory. No evidence that minerals in hard water ever do any harm in body and no evidence that anyone derives any Particular benefit from drinking only dis­tilled water- or rain water.
