At the moment there is ONE lone fire plug in the Mayfair' Addition (100 homes), NO plugs | at all in Biltmore (200 homes and • a hotel). . Combine a bad- fire and one of these high winds we’ve been having of late, and a lot of people would be home- less. Why ISN’T whatever con- troversy there is, SETTLED BE- iFORE A CATASTROPHIC FIRE i INSTEAD QF AFTERWARD? Residents' of these and other more recent projects are certain­ly entitled to fire protection, re­gardless of who buys the fire plugs. In the case of the two subdivisions mentioned, we’re arguing about approximately $2,000, the»cost of one not-toO-se- rious fire. * * * *
