Las Vegas * June 34, 1943 W 1-1*2 Referring to my letter Jane 4th, at which time | enclosed copy of letter from A, E, Oahlan eon- coming proposed sale of acreage on North Main Street to Clark, Oahlan and Grants surrey of which ground was made by Mr* Plrie and party pome weeks ago* f conferred with General Manager* Mr. Vitus, and Superintendent, Mr. Fish yesterday who advised they concurred in the sale, as proposed purchasers agree to renew leases with employees new liTlng gjt ?The Grove* and ;if any cabins have to he removed for the opening up of First Street, it would he done at sole expense of the purchasers. Note fourth paragraph of Mr, Cahlan's letter, X would like authority to close the sale of this property as requested in Mr, C&hlan’s letter for the price of ISO© per acre and that portion fronting cm North Main Street which is now occupied hy Imnk yard at the rate of $700 per acre, these gentlemen are very anxious to obtain portion of this ground at once as they anticipate beautifying the same which is lying directly south ft the new Biltmore Addition, and will add much to the looks of this addition and that part of the city.
