As yet we have not made any progress with our well, but understand that the necessary amoynt has now boon Included in the budget, and Mr. C* F, Miller, IS. M. of W., advises that he expects to let the contract complete for both digging and easing to Olaapett 4 Go., of Loa Ahgeleo, Calif. It might 'he that if Olaiapett & Co., could get eontract for tha digging of two wells, both the R,H, Co. and. the P.F.E. & Co. could save money on the proposition. I had a talk with your Mr, Flemming yesterday and"he is very much in favor of having the well you contemplate digging, lot by contract the earn© m the Railroad Company are doing. If you will take the matter up with C, F. Miller,,whoso address is Los Angeles, Calif.s 0/0 Railroad Depot, 1 m sure ho oan give you more detailed information concerning our plans.
