Las Vegas, Nevada November 23, 1922 Mr. H. T. Whyte, Chief .Engineer, Paeifie Pruit Express Company, Ban Prancieco, California. Dear Sir: Acknowledging receipt of your letter under date of October 11th, Pile Mo. L-2-3, in reference to water furnished by this Company to the Pacific fruit Express at this point. After consulting with Mr. Williams, Acting General Manager, concerning this matter, we concur with your statement that installation of oooling plant as suggested in your letter, will greatly reduce the con* sumption of water. Ve will, therefore, be pleased to try the same out for a year at least and, if it works out satisfactorily, it will relieve our water shortage here during the summer months; 1 do not think there will be any need, in view of this fact, of your boring for artesian wells as recommended in former correspondence. B/U Yours truly, Vice-President A Agent. CC--J4. A. Williams C. F. Miller
