Mr* Knickerbocker; #a April 1, 1936. a very peculiar position, and I. ©an foresee that in the summer months when we find our reservoir almost drained and | narked shortage of pressure and water to the consumers, there will be an immediate howl from the ehtire populace and a refusal on the part of a great many to pay their monthly water rent. Ton are familiar with the exchange of correspondence on this subject last year, at which time It was decided not to expend the amount necessary for a new well, but I wish to emphasize the fact that conditions are much worse this year and will continue to be as the summer progresses. Another thing we Skoi&d anticipate is the probable demand for resumption of service in the Boulder Addition# At this time we are not serving water to the Boulder Syndicate, but for the first ten months of 193S we delivered to them an average of g,013,766 gallons per month on a wholesale basis, with an average revenue from them of fl45*G0 per month* %en the hot summer months arrive and they find their pump will not supply the addition, they will come to ua and ask for water, and no doubt the Public Service Commission will require us to furnish it# The requirements of this Addition are, of course, highest during the summer months when we are ourselves short of water, and with no water running over the spillway right now it is not difficult t© imagine the situation that we will have to face later in the summer.
