The Las Vegas Land and Water company requested a boost _from $1.00 to $2.00 for each residence, the commission setting the proper figure at $1.50 which' with a charge of 25c each for bath and toilet brings the total amount fot houseowners UP to $2.00 monthly, instead of $1.50. . ' In most instances where an in­crease of $1.00 per month was re­quested, the commission cut this figure in half. In the case ot bungalow courts, the rate requested was $2.00 per month for each single house without bath- or toilet _the commission set the amount at $1, with the majority of other types of service in proportion.
