    Mr. Harry Jameson Page 2 December 14, 1951 I discussed the matter with Mr. Allen and he tells me that so far as his plans are at present* and he knows of no reason to change them, that the hearing will go on January 22nd as scheduled. As you know, considerable pressure is being brought upon us to dismiss our application but it seems to me that the only way we can bring to the attention of the people of Las Vegas the serious water situation is to have the hearing and have the evidence introduced which may impress them. We have tried to impress them for several years and they listen courteously and go on wasting water and I am sure you will agree with me that next summer it is going to be pretty tough.
