Daring the year I960, there was produced from the mtsr production facilities available to the has Vegas Land and N&ter Company, approximately 3,559,000,000 gallons of water, a minor portion of which -me used by the tlnion Pacific Railroad Company, the balance of which me consumed in the City of has Vegas. You will recall that during the months of July, August and September 1930, there was alleged to be a serious shortage of mter and the shortage v&s the subject of the aforementioned hearing in September 1960. for the first ten months of 1931, there was produced from the water production facilities available to the Las Vegas Land and later Company apprexliaately 3,867,000,000 gallon® of ester and it is estimated that there will be'-produced approximately 3,000,000,000 gallons of water for the year 1951.
