Los Angeles, Calif October 1, 1941 Mr. Walter Bracken, Gen. Mgr. Las Vegas Land & later Company Las Vegas, Nevada My dear Mr. Bracken: I was in Las Vegas last Saturday and Monday and called at your office, but you were out and I was very sorry that I did not get to see you, as I had a number of things I wanted to talk over with you. I have a party here, a Mr. 0. B. Smith, who was for a number of years one of the large subdividers of Potter & Smith Realty Company. Mr. Smith was in your city about ten days ago and he went there on account of my recommendations that I thought Las Vegas was the next coming town. Now, he has requested me to write you to see if your Company has any tracts of land to subdivide close to the magnesium plant which is going in there, or any other piece of ground near the City of Las Vegas suitable for subdivision purposes. He also requested me to ask you if you would send us down a city map showing the subdivision of Las Vegas, streets and lots, and also a map showing the surrounding country in acreage. Please let me hear from you as soon as possible. I remain, Very truly yours, Charles A. Palmer 1216^- S. Mariposa Avenue Los Angeles, California
