Rouse* I am enclosing a copy of a letter which Mr. Ren-wick has written to Mr. McNamee following his prelim­inary discussion with Prank Hamilton concerning the form of the Escrow Instructions and instruments of conveyance to be used in transferring the Las Vegas water system to the District on the sale date. Mr. Hamilton desired Mr. McNamee to review the documents, I am also enclosing a copy of the Escrow Instruc­tions, in which insertions and changes have been made to indicate the tentative changes which were agreed up­on by Mr. Renwlck and Mr. Hamilton. The copy is not very legible, but I think you will be able to follow the changes with the draft which is in your possession. You will note.that we have advised Mr, McNamee and Mr. Hamilton that we are agreeable to the deletion from Section X of the Escrow Instructions of everything .fol­lowing the first sentence of that section. I also sug­gest to you that we insert in Section X the following language * "All payments made by you to the Water Company shall be made by Cashier's check, which shall be sent by United States regis­tered, air mail on the day of the payment to L. L. Burri, Treasurer of the Water Com­pany, at l4l6 Dodge Street, Omaha 2, Nebras­ka. "All payments made by you to the Salt Lake Company or the Union Pacific shall be made by cashier's check, which shall be sent by United States registered, air mall on the day of the payment to L. L. Burri, their Assistant Treasurer, at 1416 Dodge Street, Omaha 2, Nebraska," - If you and Mr. Burri approve of this, I will have the provision inserted in the Escrow Instructions. ECRiMSB Enel. E. E.
