In order to get certain pertinent in­formation, it is necessary for him to make some pumping tests on some of the wells in the Basin, I believe that he will shortly make a test on the Jap well out in Paradise Valley. He is quite anxious to arrange for a pumping test on one of your wells that will not be in use. As you probably know, if they make a test on one well, observations have to be made on the other wells in the vincinity. Therefore, they would want to use some of your other wells for observation purposes. The test would be for 48 hours, and as I understand it, will be a very im­portant and necessary test. in this matter and if so, I would appreciate your advising Mr. Maxey, as well as this office. a small detailed report of the Las Vegas Land and Wate4^ Company's water supply and system for use in our next biennial report. I hope'that you will be able to get this to me within the next month.
