File Memot In compiling Annual Report for 1941, it is not&d that the consumption as shown by water passing through the Master Meters exceeds the production as shown by weir measurements of wells in service. To adjust this for benefit of the Annual Report, "Maximum Amount of Water Available" is shown as (1) Amount used by LVL&WCo., plus (2)_Amount used by Railroad, plus (3) Amount permitted to run down Las Vegas Creek, from Open Spring only. And "Total water unaccounted for" is shown as only that portion permitted to run down the Greek fr® Open Spring (Item 3). The discrepancy between amount of water registered by the meters and the amount produced as shown by weir measurements was discussed with Mr.Doll and railroad officials frmm time to time, and recommendations made that an elbow be inserted in Clark Street line ahead of meter to stop it from raclgg when pipe is not full.
