L. D. No. dated February 21, 196U between County Sanitation District No. 1$ of Los Angeles County, called “D i s t r i c t ” , and Las Vegas Land and sfater Company, called "Company”, supplementing agreement dated May 23, 1962 identified as C. L. D. No. 1 if,255, covering the construction by Company and sale to District of certain sewer and appurtenant works described in said agreement as "San Jose Creek Trunk Sewer", said supplemental agreement agreeing to hold District free and harmless from , and to indemnify it against any claims or liens including but not limited to a claim heretofore made in the specific amount of #11,977•79, and any claims of the Internal Revenue Service in c lu d in g but not limited to a claim heretofore made in the specific amount of $9,U&5>«35» District agreeing that notwithstanding the aforesaid claims and dispute by Company with the Security Insurance Company of New Haven, and notwithstanding said withholding by Company of #21,75^*20 from the Contractor, J.P.S.
