"From August 1, to September 1,1929" Am returning th is cheek to you unaccepted as the la s Vegas land & water Company has no lease with you nor anyone else ooTaring this portion of ground described above. I have advised you on previous occasions that you located on our ground without lease or permit of any kind and that tbs la s Vegas land A Water Company could not and would not permit you to remain there. On or about August 6th in the presence of Mr, J.Warren Woodard 1 refused to accept money from you for ren tal on this same piece o f ground and at that time n o tifie d you to move o ff the premises. Again X advise you that the ground on which you are located I s the property of the la s Vegas land & water Company and is not fo r lease to anyone, and you w i ll please remove therefrom at once.
