Dear Sir: 3?his w ill acknowledge receipt of your letter July 11th, file **ed 4816, with regard to addressing future requisitions for stationery to the General Store at Omaha* % e last sentence of your letter is not clearly understood, reading " i f you were a c t u a l l y short as you claim ..,". $here is no question whatever that there were twos dozen pencils short* fhe package was intact when we1 received it from the express company, and when we opened same there were one dozen Ho-3 pencils lying on top of the other stationery ordered, ' , f / 3?here were no other items short on this requis­ition, and' for that reason we were under the impression that the other two dozen p e n c i l s would follow shortly. Incidentally, the two dozen pencils which we received on bsc order were not Bo-36 as ordered, hut were Bo-2’ e.
