(Personal) Bear Bote: Las Vegas - June E6„ 1937. At Mr. Jeffers* suggestion and on his authority, we have just completed an extensive program of rehabilitation at the Company rooming-house here, and while we were at it, we also had the interior of the water offices repainted. "Everything now presents a nice-clean, up-to-date appearance, with the exception of the furniture in the outer office. All that is in the outer office is a long, flat-top table, one desk and a typewriter desk, all of the vintage of the old L W T Railroad, and these are of an age and dark color which clash with the light finish of the walls and woodwork. 1 would certainly appreciate it very much if you could send us out three desks of a light oak color to match the other surroundings and present a neat appearance when Mr. Jeffers returns to inspect the improve ments. We need two flat-top desks, size 3 ft. x h ft. / each with two rows of drawers; and one typewriter desk with a dro;- center, of about the same size, so the typewriter can be dropped out of sight when not in use at night. Will you please let me know if there are three light oak color desks of this type in storage at Los Angeles, or if they can tee secured. Thanking you in advance, I remain Sincerely yours, Mr. R. H. 'Adams.-, Purchasing Agent, Los Angeles, Cal. Walter R. Bracken, Vice-President.
