Ko. 8 ('W„ 0. #577), issued April 24, 1947; Las Vegas, Nev.; construct 450 ft, of 6" cast iron water pipe line in Hastings Ave, from Rose St. to serve Lots 3 to 9 in Block 2 of Woodland park. Addition. Total estimated expenditure, $1,3S0, chargeable to Water System*-Las Vegas, Nev. AoF.E. No. 9 (W.O. #578), issued Jan. 14, 1947; Vernon, Calif.; construct 1541 x 352* one-story car floor elevation warehouse and office building with 12* x 100* platform, pave track and parking area and construct 241 ft. of spur track to serve General Motors Corpn. (GMC Truck and Coach Division) at Downey Road and Leonis Blvd. Total estimated expenditure, '>400,000, chargeable to Warehouses, Packing Houses and Equipment- Calif . W.O, #579, issued Apr. 30, 1947; Las Vegas, Nev.; replace one and one-half ton truck with new one and one-half ton truck, required in connection with main­tenance of water mains and transporting of repair pipe and fittings. Total estimated expenditure, 51875, chargeable to Investment in Work Shop & Equip, Nevada, less Credit to Investment in Work Shop A Equip, Nevada for ledger value of Property to be Retired, ‘,>877, W.O. #580, issued June 24, 1947; Vernon, Calif,;'' retirement of irregular parcel of land near Soto and 57th Sts,., being part of Lot 2, Tract 2386, Los Angeles County, Calif., sold to Sears Roebuck & Company, as per Deed Audit No. 4878. Credit Account Real Estate Sold - Warehouses, Packing Houses & Equipment-California for ledger value of property retired, ^428,089, Chargeable •'Accrued Depreciation-Warehouses L Packing Houses", $76,478; Sale price, $367,197; Creditable to Profit on Sales of Real Estate, • $15,586; Estimated cost of removal of property'retired chargeable to Profit on Sales of Real Estate, $1»052. Vlhereupon, on motion duly seconded, It was RESOLVED, that the action of President in approving the aforementioned A. F. E. Requests, be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. -9
