MAR 8 1954 Word has reached me that you are accepting applications to fill a position as Manager of a newly formed Water District. If the qualifications listed briefly herewith are of interest to you, I would appreciate receiving full information regarding the pos-ition and an application form, if you are accepting applications on a prescribed form. My experience embraces 10 years in private business, 5 years as City Manager of the City of Tulare, California, during which time I was also Manager under the Board of Public Utilities of that City, administering all mater in connection with water production and dist-ribution, sewers and sewage treatment. Tulare has a population of approximately 13,000. Sinoe May of 1950, I have served as Manager of Ben Ali Water Company, in the Suburban area of Saoramento. In May of 1950, the Company was serving 1620 Consumers and showed fixed oapital of 4 259,501.46. As of January 1, 1954, our territory had expanded to cover approximately £5 square miles, our fixed oapital is $ 1,118,534.23 and we are serving 6975 Consumers, 6830 of which are served on flat rates and 145 on metered basis. During 1953, we experienced a Consumer growth of 1249, a capital growth of $ 253,805.49 and installed approximately 82,500 lin­eal feet of water mains. I trust that the above will give some indication of the nature of my ourrent experience. Ily age is 44. I am married, have no children. Physioally sound.
