Frank Strong denied here to­day he planned to resign from the Nevada Colorado river com­mission as an aftermath of dir­ect criticism by the Las Vegas Valley water district of a break­down in negotiations'for the Bas­ic Magnesium water system. Published reports had quoted Strong, named to the: board by Governor Charles . Russell ear­lier this year, assaying he was [considering giving up his post. !. “ I’m not resigning from the commission under any circum­stances^' Strong told the United Press. “ I dpn’t think there’s any­thing to rekign..over,” Referring to the present wat­er contract situation, Strong! .said, “ I don’t think it’s insur­mountable. He suggested one “ excellent solution” to the entire BMI prob­lem might be to sell the entire .plant site and ail its facilities to the present industrial lessee's there, including the water sys­tem. The lessees might form a holding company or some sort of parent corporation for that purpose.
