J; Colorado River Commissioned I Frank Strong ’and Plant Man- | ager Julian Moore are proceed-t ing with studies of the line and I pumping facilities to ascertain? I the maximum capacity and les-j sees are projecting their antici- ! pated needs over a 10 year period. Moore said this morning th a t; 1 previous tests run by the commission, and which showed a j 33,000,000 gallon daily potential are in line with the rated capac i t y of'the system with present facilities. Further tests will be ; run to substantiate these figures, Moore said. The lessees have previously j indicated they felt there would bp a 10,000,000 gallon surplus ; -daily which might be sold to the j j water, district. Of this amount ! 4,000,000 would be for Nellis air ; base and the remainder for the ! local system. Studies will also be made of I the cost of increasing the capa- i I city of the present pipe-line and booster •facilities thrbugh instal-i lation of additional pumps and | other necessary equipment.
