Contract Audit No. 7322 dated March 30, 1929, effective April 1, 1929, with Lae Vegas Land and Water Company, provides monthly rental rate be based on the total expense in connection with maintaining and operating the railroad-owned facilities used in common by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, plus the carrying charges on the facilities consisting of interest, taxes, insurance and de­preciation incurred during the previous year. The basis used in setting up carrying charges for the year 19^5 confirmed by you on March 5, 19^6/ls as follows: f/ Interest - on total valuation Depreciation - on total improvements Taxes - $1.75 per $100.00 of total valuation Insurance - (Estimated) $50.00 Please advise whether any change should be made in our basis for computing the interest, depreciation, taxes and insurance in establishing the rental rate for the year 19^6.
