Anderson, General Hater Service Foreman,Los Angeles. R. L. Adamson, Industrial Engineer, Los Angeles. J. O’Bryan,'District Foreman, Mechanical Dept., Las Vegas. A. J. Scott, Plant Manager, PFE Company, Las Vegas* 1, Mr. Calvin Cory will Investigate the question as to whether the LA&3L Railroad Company has a* vested right in the 2.5 CFS in Hell No. 1 in the water field, and therefore could require transfer of such water right to a new location. In any event, committee is of the opinion that effort should he made to transfer entire 2.5 CFS to shop well, and does not feel that Railroad Company should relinquish any of its water rights. 2e Committee proposes,to start worh as quickly as feasible in cleaning out shop well and increasing its flow. t is our opinion that well, when pumped steadily, particularly, In summer season, will produce only 180 GPM in its present condition. Committee further believes that railroad facilities, including the railroad rooming house and PSE; will require a production of approximately 220 GPM. Therefore, we will recondition this well so as to definitely determine amount of production which nan be obtained from it. In event PFE obtains its water from the LVL&tf Company or the Las Vegas Valley Hater District, then the amount of water required to serve railroad facilities, including rooming house, is approximately 15? GPM. These figures exclude requirements for all industries now served by Railroad Company. After reconditioning and test of shop well, layout and facilities required will b© determined and estimate of cost prepared, and further report made.
