Las Vegas - March 8, 1946 W 1-1-2 Mr. Frank Strong: Confirming our phone conversation date. I enclose clipping from this Morning's Tribune with regard to proposed opening of Mesquite Street which is just north of the 1.74 acres we sold Clark, C&hlan, and Grant under WO 489. Our attention is directed to the condition of the Las Vegas Creek which is overgrown with weeds and has accu­mulated considerable debris. The first time the dragline i in this vicinity I suggest that we have it clean it out. This has been done periodically during the past years, the Las Vegas Land and Water Company assuming cost from north Main Street to the Ranch and the Union Pacific Railroad the cost from north Main street to the Reservoir.
