COPY Water Well * Las Vegas Los Angeles, Lune 15# 1948 Mr, Frank strongs Your letter of June 8th, file 1-7334# regarding Las Vegas Land and Water Company Work Order 598 - water well Las Vegaa, Regarding prices for the required casing whioh can he furnished by Mr* Don T. Christensen of Compton, California, and confirming conversation this morning, it is our understanding that this la a welded type casing and will be installed with welded Joints. According to your letter, Mr, Christensen will sell the 12" oaslng with 1/4 B wall at §4.00 per foot, and the 16" easing with 3/16* wall at §4.75 per foot. We oan purchase this casing with identical dimensions from the Southern Pipe & Casing Company of Azusa at §2.8? per foot for the 12* and $3*05 per foot for the 16*, foo.b. Azusa, 60 to 90 day delivery. The Western Pipe & Steel Company oan also furnish the 12* at §3*15 foot, and the 16* at #3*35 per foot immediately from steel now in transit, delivery 30 days or from steel in stock immediately delivery at #3*85 per foot for the 12* and #3*95 per foot for the 16*, f.o.b. Los Angeles. Zf time permits, it is my suggestion that we place order with the Western Pipe & Steel Company on the basis of 30 days delivery. Do you concur? 0. A.
