Las Vegas * March 22, lf^$ W 1-1-2 Mr. Frank Strongs Contractor Olaf Melson ia actively engaged in widening Bonanza Hoad from Main Street east In front of the Biltmore Hotel* The plan contemplates construction of a clover leaf bridge over the Las Vegas Creek, one leg of which will run east to 5th Street and the other south into 2nd Street. When this is done the sub-dividers to whom we sold the acreage in Biltmore Addition, Clark, C&hlan and Grant, intend to develop their holdings along either side of Horth 2nd Street. Bo you have a copy of a print you can send me showing the bearing of the Las Vegas Creek in this location between Biltmore Addition and Parkview Addition. They are under the impression that we changed the course of the Creek after sale of the ?8.64 Acres, but I recall this was done before that time and this is confirmed by the deed, December 13, 1941, as reference is made therein to *an easement for the flow of water of Las Vegas Creek in part along and through the natural course of said oreek across said land and in part along and through the presently situated Alton acroaa "aaid 'lane," .
