Will you kindly ask Mr* Adamson to check this for errors or omissions* I I believe it would be proper at this time to con­sider our own requirements for future operation of this ex­tension and the potential demand for service to adjacent territory as soon as it is known that the LYL&W Go. has taken over operation, Since the new pipe has been strung out on the ground, numerous inquiries have been made to Gity officials, the sub-dividers of Bonanza Village and this office, regarding the possibility of securing service from this line to the West Bonanza Road district. 1 anticipate as soon as the line is installed we will be subjected to con­siderable pressure to extend a lateral therefrom, parallel to Bonanza Road to serve the residents particularly on the north side of Bonanza Road where they have the most trouble securing an adequate supply for domestic use in the hot summer months. Unless we anticipate this demand now and design the extension accordingly, we will ultimately have a dead-end on West Bonanza that will be practically impossible to supply with adequate pressure. In addition, the first 1900 feet of this new line will be of no revenue-producing value, so far as taking off services are concerned, as it doea not appear that the locality between the 24-inoh main and Bonanza load will soon develop* —2*
