With the idea o f p u ttin g the lo t s on the market as soon as p o s s ib le I have recommended to the committee that a ft e r -the p la t o f the townsite is prepared and the lo t s la id ou t, the railroad , company s h a ll s e l l lo t s to intending purchasers, en te rin g in to an agreement w ith them to w ith in , say s ix months, convey, or cause to be conveyed, to them t i t l e s to the lo t s which they may purchase. In th is way the lo t s can be put upon the market s h o rtly , and we s h a ll s t i l l have p len ty o f time to form the land company and have i t f i l e the p la t o f the town and make conveyances to the in d iv id u a l purchasers. This m atter o f conveying lo t s from unrecorded p la ts is fre q u e n tly done in and around Los Angeles in instances where, fo r any reason, i t is d e sir ed to w ithhold the reco rd in g o f the p la ts fo r some time, and at the same time i t is considered advisable to put the lo t s on the market at once. I have communicated these suggestions to the committee and would be pleased to know.whether i t meets w ith your approval.
