MAINTENANCE OF FENCES The C o n tr a c to r s h a l l , a t th e expense o f th e C o n t r a c to r , r e p a i r , r e p l a c e and m ain ta in a l l fe n c e s and g a t e s o f th e R a ilr o a d Company, th e L e s s o r Company and o f p r i v a t e p a r t i e s a d ja c e n t t o th e work, which a re to r n down or a l t e r e d i n any manner by th e Con­t r a c t o r o r th e agents o r employes o f th e C o n t r a c to r , and s h a l l be s o l e l y r e s p o n s ib le f o r any i n j u r y t o l i v e - s t o c k o r crops o r f o r t r e s p a s s o r damage t o a d ja c e n t p r o p e r t i e s o r th e p u b l i c , o c c a s io n ­ed by any a c ts o r om issions on th e p a r t o f th e C o n tr a c to r or a gen ts o r employes o f th e C o n tr a c to r du rin g th e p r o g r e s s o f th e work.
